5 Main Symptoms of Heart Disease

The reason is the current human lifestyle that was full of fragility. Whereas the heart is the most important organ for a person to be alive.

Many people do not realize that they have heart disease until they had chest pain, heart attack or stroke. These kinds of problems often need more attention and the person may need to see a doctor immediately.

There are many possible symptoms that are related to heart disease depending on what type of heart disease you have. Here are some common symptoms of heart disease to be note of:

  1. Heart Palpitations
    Palpitations, an unusual awareness of the heartbeat, is an extremely common symptom of heart disease. Most people with palpitations have some type of cardiac arrhythmia — abnormal heart rhythms. There are many types of arrhythmias, and almost all can cause palpitations, but the most common causes of palpitations are Premature Atrial Complexes (PACs), Premature Ventricular Complexes (PVCs), and episodes of Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT).
  2. Chest Pain
    As long as we do activities, will feel the pain in the chest. It occur due to heart muscle not getting enough blood intake. Pain that is felt would happen almost every day. While many other conditions can cause chest pain, but heart disease is the most common.
  3. Shortness of breath
    Shortness of breath is most often symptom of heart or pulmonary (lung) disorders. Heart failure and coronary artery disease frequently produce shortness of breath. Other cardiac conditions such as valvular heart disease or can produce this symptom, as well as cardiac arrhythmias. Shortness of breath is almost sign of a significant medical problem, and should always be evaluated by a doctor.
  4. Weakness or Fatigue
    Weakened heart muscle causes the blood pumping process slowed. Patients often feel weak and tired despite not doing anything. To avoid weakening of heart function, we should regularly exercise and do a lot of movement that would lead heart work more active.
  5. Dizziness and Fainting
    Abnormal blood pumping so the blood intake been disturbed. A person may feel dizzy due to lack of blood. Heart rate weakened resulting in the patient faint. Persistent pain, pain in the spine, and brain disorders due to abnormalities in blood supply cause dizziness and even fainting.
