Obama in Live Discussion on June 24

obama-healthcareUS President Barack Obama is going to participate in a moderated discussion that would be broadcasted on ABC on 24 June. It will be a live audience discussion on health care with Obama. The discussion will be moderated by Charles Gibson and Diane Sawyer; and take place at the East Room in the White House.

Besides the interview, Wednesday morning’s “Good Morning America” can begin from the South Lawn of the White House. It will contain an exclusive dialogue from Sawyer with Barack Obama.

ABC News press release says, Obama will “answer questions from an audience made up of Americans selected by ABC News who have divergent opinions in this historic debate.” The discussion can be telecasted on a two-hour tape which delays from 10-11 p.m. Eastern.

Then ABC stations will break for regular local news. However, the talk-show on the focus of health care will go on “Nightline.”

When the health officials reported earlier today, it said that at least 121 people have been tasted positive with the new A/H1N1 flu which surged over the weekend.

The Japanese government has closed hundreds of schools around the country and also ordered the cancellation of any kind of public events in order to spread the viruses. AP report said that bank in southeast Japan has also asked its stuffs to work from home after the stuffs have tested positive.

Health officers in the most difficult area of the affection of the flu which are though to be mainly in Hyogo and Osaka reported that most of the patients are recovering from the treatment from local hospital or home. BBC news report claims that,

over the weekend the Japanese authorities also reported the country’s first case of community spread swine flu in a patient from the large port city of Kobe (the capital of Hyogo prefecture), which is about 270 miles (430 km) west of Tokyo.

Many of the patients have not travelled abroad and the roomers are raising that if any more cases like this come out than the World Health Organization will have to raise the pandemic alert to phase 6. The pandemic alert level of WHO is not a sign of how lethal the virus is, it only indicates how it is spreading.

In the mean time, Japanese hospitals have organized special “fever clinics” only for swine flu. The local media are handing out the instructions of hand and mouth hygiene. The local authorities also setup hot lines and providing the advice to the people what to do if they have the flu symptoms.

Ginger Reduces Vomiting

GingerIn medical science the uses of ginger is not new. Lots of people take tea with ginger for making their health fresher. Others, piece of ginger or blending ginger uses in different foods.

Recently, from research, the scientists have got new information that, ginger diminishes vomiting after chemotherapy for cancer. The matter was doughtily in various persons’ mind from previous some years but after research it has been proved that, the cancer patient who is under treatment, ginger is so much effective for them than anti-vomiting any other drugs.

U.S. researchers will publish full report on this topic in the final assembly of American Society of Clinical Oncology. On 29 May, the assembly will occur in Orlando. Most of the part of the report has been published on this Thursday.

The research was done by the National Cancer Institute of United States. And this huge scale human test involved 644 tolerant who were suffering chemotherapy at 23 oncology practices in U.S. Most of these patients were suffering from breast cancer. From these 644 patients, one group has taken the ginger capsule and other group took normal anti-vomiting medicine. After few days it has been observed that, who took ginger capsule their vomiting tendency were 45 percent less than normal anti-vomiting medicine takers.

New Method Take 5 Hour to Test Swine Flu

The ministry mobilized medical experts to develop the latest diagnostic process to test A(H1N1) virus. Within very short time considering its outbreak in more than dozen countries in South America, Europe, Asia, and the USA. Up to now, at least 23 people died whereas hundreds have been affected by this virus.
