Japan’s new H1N1 Flu Flow Over Weekend

When the health officials reported earlier today, it said that at least 121 people have been tasted positive with the new A/H1N1 flu which surged over the weekend.

The Japanese government has closed hundreds of schools around the country and also ordered the cancellation of any kind of public events in order to spread the viruses. AP report said that bank in southeast Japan has also asked its stuffs to work from home after the stuffs have tested positive.

Health officers in the most difficult area of the affection of the flu which are though to be mainly in Hyogo and Osaka reported that most of the patients are recovering from the treatment from local hospital or home. BBC news report claims that,

over the weekend the Japanese authorities also reported the country’s first case of community spread swine flu in a patient from the large port city of Kobe (the capital of Hyogo prefecture), which is about 270 miles (430 km) west of Tokyo.

Many of the patients have not travelled abroad and the roomers are raising that if any more cases like this come out than the World Health Organization will have to raise the pandemic alert to phase 6. The pandemic alert level of WHO is not a sign of how lethal the virus is, it only indicates how it is spreading.

In the mean time, Japanese hospitals have organized special “fever clinics” only for swine flu. The local media are handing out the instructions of hand and mouth hygiene. The local authorities also setup hot lines and providing the advice to the people what to do if they have the flu symptoms.
