It is very important that you eat a healthy, balanced diet regardless of whether you eat meat and dairy products or not, as in this day and age of busy modern living and long hectic working days it is too easy to reach for the calorie laden, rich convenience foods that soon see you putting on unnecessary weight.
Although vegetarian diets are generally lower in calories and fat than meat diets, many pre-packed vegetarian convenience products such as ready made ‘meat and dairy free’ pies, sausages, pizzas, crisps and cheese do contain a high amount of fat, salt and sugar (sometimes much more than the standard meat versions), and if overeaten these can cause obesity. Balance is the key to maintaining a health weight with any diet, which should be implemented alongside a suitable fitness plan.
Convenience Foods
You can indulge yourself in convenience foods now and again, but make sure you check the labels to ensure these snacks and ready made products are not too full of fat, sugar and salt. Ideally you should be choosing foods that have no more that 4-6g fat per 100g, and your daily fat intake should be around a total of 30-35g.
Carbohydrates
Complex carbs such as those found in whole wheat bread, wholegrain cereals, rice and oats will help fill you up and give you lots of healthy energy, so when choosing a meal plan include regular helpings of these carbs, and try and cut down on the more calorie dense carbs such as pizza, pasta, white bread and pastry.

She needed an external tube into her windpipe for breathing process. The only parts of her face left were her upper eyelids, forehead, lower lip and chin.
